Toddy

A 'Toddy' or 'Hot Toddy' is a popular alcoholic beverage made from scotch or whisky, honey and lemon with cinamon added for flavour enhancement.

How to make a Toddy:

1. Halve two lemons and squeeze the lemon juice
2. Pour the lemon juice without the pips into the beverage glass
3. Add a decent dollup of honey
4. Pour hot water in and stir (ensure not boiling or too hot for the glass)
5. Add one or two shots of scotch or whisky
6. Test for taste, add one or two teaspoons of raw sugar if too sour (optional)
7. Season with cinamon powder or add a cinamon stick for flavour
